Compatibility

  • Current Gunfighter Mk.III accessories such as grips, Omni Throttle Adapter, stick extensions (100mm and 200mm), etc. are not compatible with Gunfighter Mk.IV controllers.
    It requires an upgrade kit which will be released very soon.

Fantastic Product

Decided to pull the trigger and enter into the market for some higher end peripherals. After spending some time flying with it, I find the Gunfighter IV base to be second to none. It is smooth, responsive, durable, and compact. Everything you'd need for a joystick base.

The F-14 grip is also amazing to use. The plastic feels high quality and the rubber inserts are a really nice touch. Being a replica of the original, the grip is very ergonomic to hold and use. Only thing I'd have changed if anything would be a firmer first stage trigger.

Delivery to New Zealand was prompt and the product was well packaged and protected. 100% am planning on buying more VKB products, would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing Base, Subpar Grip

The Gunfighter Mk.IV is the best base I’ve ever felt, the springs are heavy enough to support the stick extension while the dry clutch has amazing feedback and softening of the centre of both axis. The F-14 Grip however was not to the standard I was expecting, while the ergonomics feel great as per being a 1-1 replica of the real thing the plastic used feels very cheap and light. There is nothing more to say about the trigger other than it being utterly terrible. How this has not been fixed from the initial reviews and complaints I read has me very confused.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you do not like the F-14 grip.
About the construction - we're using high quality ABSm which is sturdy, reliable and durable. It is the same material used in the car and aviation industry and it's definitely not a cheap material.
But in the end it's personal preference of course.
