Gunfighter Mk.IV ‘Space Combat Edition’ Premium (right or left-handed)

The VKB Gunfighter Mk. IV is a high-quality joystick designed for flight simulation enthusiasts. I found it to have a very ergonomic design that ensured comfort during extended sessions, and its compatibility with various flight sims adds to its versatility.

I've been using a set of two of these with the left in an omni throttle for about two weeks straight and I'm impressed, it's got some getting used to, I kept it default just to break it in and see what I'm dealing with and very happy with it. I think now I've gotten used to it with the out of the box setup I'm going to switch to a soft space axis and maybe stronger springs and this is fantastic because all of those things come in the box so whenever you feel it's no longer working for your setup you can change it, eventually when I get a full desk setup I really like that all the parts I need are pretty much here I'd have to get the stick extension but that's kind of a bonus because of how module this has been I'm happy that it's capable of being in almost any setup, so while it's just sitting on my desk, for now, knowing I can change it later without needing to really buy a whole new stick is why I gravitated towards these sticks and I didn't want to have like buyers remorse for going cheap now and having to buy again later so I just kinda went all in with what I could and am so pleased.

I am not usually one for writing reviews, but on this occasion I thought that Gunfighter MK.IV warranted a highly desirable commentary, particular for anyone sitting on the fence about potentially buying the stick.

From my prospective the Gunfighter MK.IV brings a level of control and realism to playing Elite Dangerous that I was not expecting. The customisation options available for tightening the internal springs allows for greater sense of movement control and feedback, that I could not achieve with my previous analogue stick.

I am immensely pleased with my purchase, so much so that I have purchased additional products from VKB to compliment my gaming experience with Gunfighter MK.IV.

If you are in the market for an upgrade then I highly recommend purchasing either the Gunfighter MK.IV Space Combat or the Modern Combat Edition with twist (I own both versions now, together with Rudder Pedals and the STECS Throttle System) from VKB Australia.
