Gunfighter Mk.IV ‘Space Combat Edition’ Premium (right or left-handed)

I’ve been using the Gunfighter Mk.IV ‘Space Combat Edition’ Premium (right-handed) for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer for my sim setup. The build quality is exceptional—solid, precise, and designed to last.

What really stands out is the level of control it offers. The precision and smoothness are second to none, and the customization options, from springs to cams, let you fine-tune it exactly to your liking. Setting it up was straightforward, and the VKB software made the process hassle-free.

I mainly use it for DCS, and it’s performed flawlessly. Whether I’m flying high-speed intercepts or managing complex dogfights, the Gunfighter delivers accuracy and responsiveness that I didn’t know I was missing.

If you’re serious about flight sims or space combat, this is a joystick worth investing in.

I enjoyed their product so much I’ve already ordered the STECS Mk II throttle.

I am not usually one for writing reviews, but on this occasion I thought that Gunfighter MK.IV warranted a highly desirable commentary, particular for anyone sitting on the fence about potentially buying the stick.

From my prospective the Gunfighter MK.IV brings a level of control and realism to playing Elite Dangerous that I was not expecting. The customisation options available for tightening the internal springs allows for greater sense of movement control and feedback, that I could not achieve with my previous analogue stick.

I am immensely pleased with my purchase, so much so that I have purchased additional products from VKB to compliment my gaming experience with Gunfighter MK.IV.

If you are in the market for an upgrade then I highly recommend purchasing either the Gunfighter MK.IV Space Combat or the Modern Combat Edition with twist (I own both versions now, together with Rudder Pedals and the STECS Throttle System) from VKB Australia.

This thing is perfect in every conceivable way. I'm someone who likes to tinker and so I opened this up within minutes of receiving it. I have never seen such a well designed stick, it's clearly meant to be maintained.

This is an expensive item but it's one that will last you a long time. I have great confidence with all aspects of the stick and vkb support are known to be good to their customers.

The stick itself moves with a delightful smoothness that requires ZERO deadzone and makes you feel truely in control of your jet. The hats and buttons on the stick are also clickly and responsive, there is no need to worry if a press has actually registered, you can feel it.

Can't recommend it enough, an expensive purchase, but one that will last I feel.

I thought about it and researched review after review and in the end I am so glad I made this purchase. Star Citizen is my game and I had much cheaper dual sticks a few years ago which did not last 8 months. I missed having sticks. This store was awesome to buy from as well, one side of Australia to the other and my door before the end of working week. Highly recommend both these sticks and VKB Aus store.
