I am absolutely blown away by the STECS Throttle System Mk.II - Max. It is an incredible piece of hardware that has completely transformed my flight simulation experience.
I paired this throttle with my VKB Gladiator NXT, and the combo is unbeatable. They look, feel, and perform brilliantly together. The level of control and precision I have now is next-level.
Out of the box, the setup was surprisingly easy. VKB has done a fantastic job making the physical configuration and software integration straightforward, so I was up and flying in no time.
The build quality is top-tier, the customisation options are endless, and the physical response of the throttle is pure luxury. I cannot recommend this system highly enough to anyone looking to upgrade their setup.

Love my VKB STECS and the VKB team in Australia and USA with their fantastic support. I have been using the VKB STECS for a few weeks now and it was a great purchase. Good value for money and delivered within a week of purchase. This adds to my VKB Gunfighter MKIV Modern Combat which is a great grip. The switches are good quality and Ive had no issues since purchasing my grip 4 years ago. Looking forward to years of use with by STECS also.
I recently picked up the VKB STECS Max, and I'm thrilled I went for VKB over my other shortlisted choices.
Build quality is exceptional and everything feels rock solid and premium, with zero flex, flimsiness, or cheap vibes. The throttle grips are incredibly comfortable for long sessions, and the overall ergonomics just click.
What really stands out is the insane level of customization. Adjusting the friction/tension on the throttle slides is super easy with the included screws. My Max bundle came with extra button modules, hats and an awesome detent set that let you swap and expand the controls effortlessly. I genuinely feel like I've picked up something that is going to last an extremely long time.
No regrets at all, this thing is a beast and feels like a serious step up with my flight sim setup. Highly recommended if you're serious about quality and personalization.
Over the years I have used many throttles attached to HOTAS and they all have had their problems. Then one day I upgraded to the STECS MAX and literally every issue I had with other throttles in the past was not there. This thing feels good in the hand, everything is within reach and most importantly it looks good too. No regrets, would definitely buy again
