    The VKB Gladiator NXT EVO Space Combat Edition (Left Hand) configured as an omni-throttle is the ultimate missing puzzle piece for a dual-stick (HOSAS) setup. Pairing this specific left-hand stick with a right-hand gunfighter stick completely throws out the old-school throttle limitations and unlocks true 6-Degrees-of-Freedom (6DoF) space flight. It makes piloting so intuitive that it honestly feels like cheating.

    I have this and the Evo Omni Throttle that I play Elite Dangerous with. I upgraded from a Logitech X52 Pro. I can’t believe the difference it has made. The overall feel and build is fantastic. It was easy to put together, the calibration was simple thanks to online tutorials and that was it. The people at VKB Australia were great, when I asked a question they answered within 24hrs. Top marks. Very happy with my purchase.

    Great!!

    My first stick so I don't have much reference but it feels great and I don't regret getting it! The VKB software is amazing too, hard to wrap your head around but so customizable.

    My ONLY complaint is that it had some sound issues (Stick tapping against the dust cover when moved (normal), squeaking A3 hat after some use) you might want to get some silicone WD-40 or similar because that fixes squeaking buttons.

    Great performance, but be prepared for assembly

    The Gladiator EVO Space Combat Edition Premium is excellent once it is set up. The controls are precise, responsive and feel very high quality, and performance-wise I have no complaints.
    My only concern was the amount of assembly required. The unit arrives in its base configuration, and the Space Combat/Premium upgrades need to be installed yourself. This involves opening the unit and working with internal components/circuit boards, so some technical confidence is definitely helpful.
    The assembly itself isn't necessarily difficult, but after spending $$$ on the overall setup, it was a little nerve-racking having to pull apart and modify brand-new equipment before using it.
    I would have preferred this to be made clearer at purchase, or to have the option of receiving the selected configuration pre-assembled.
    Once assembled, though, it's excellent and I'm very happy with its performance.

    I am extremely happy with my purchase and express shipping was very fast. The joystick its self seems very high quality for the price. A small amount of assembly was needed when unboxing which I actually liked and it gave me the opportunity to swap to lighter springs at the start. There are a lot of extra spare parts included for customisation and to maintain it for what I am assuming will be years of happy usage. There are QR links included in the box to video guides on assembly, customisation and how to calibrate it with the VKB software before first use. In use it seems very precise picking up very small movements, especially with helicopters in the flightsims, just as I had hoped. To top off all the features and befits, there are a team of people here in Australia at “VKB SIM Aus” that can assist if you need help or advise.
