The VKB Gladiator EVO 'Space Combat Edition' Premium in right-handed glory has utterly revolutionized my HOSAS setup for Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous—its SCG Premium grip molds perfectly to my right hand like it was custom-forged, with pinky-friendly triggers and hat switches that make quick weapon swaps and targeting a seamless dream during chaotic furballs. The twist rudder and gimbal deliver buttery-smooth, zero-deadzone precision that outclasses my old T16000M by light-years, while the modular base lets me tweak springs for that ideal resistance without a single calibration headache. Setup was idiot-proof (10 minutes tops, thanks to the intuitive software), and its metal-heavy construction laughs off marathon sessions without wobble or wear. This flight stick is great - there are cheaper sticks out there, and nicer sticks, but vkb walks the line on *just* affordable excellent quality with this one.

Super fun to play with, very thoughtful design - and so far ive only heard great things about VKB. On this stick: the ergonomics are great, the button placement and selection is great, it feels so good in the hand and is so easy to use.

Would I recommend VKB, and/or just this stick to everyone? no. BUT, if its in your budget, this is certainly in the top of the class for this price.

This joystick is about as perfect as you can get without stepping up in a pricier league. What you get is excellent fit and finish, a huge number of buttons, even more if you use the vkb software, excellent sensitivity to inputs, comfortable feel, springs, buttons and so much more in the box to modify it the way you want to fly. Within a few minutes of unboxing, i had it put together and calibrated and flying and difference to say a logitech extreme pro is like chalk and cheese. The number of inputs is daunting and will take time if you fly MSFS or DCS, combined with a omnithrottle like i have, flying is so easy and natural now, i cannot honestly fault this stick, maybe the pinky button can stick out more but really, this for the price is as good as it gets. To me, premium means value and this is top of the line as far as i am concerned.

Shipping was pretty fast, and I like its customisability. I haven't really mounted it to a frame or anything like that, so I can't say it's better on that or not, but the rubber feet on the bottom are really grippy on the table I have, so there's no complaints there. There was a little detection issue with MSFS 2020, but it only happened once, and the only thing I needed to do to fix it was to calibrate it again.

My computer is fairly powerful and has high-current USB 3.2 ports on it (the red ones). Watching some videos of this stick, if your pc doesn't have them, you may need a powered USB hub.

All in all, a very good product for a beginner, and I approve of it.
